The Sabian HHX 21" Groove Ride Cymbal (12189XB) brings a revolutionary approach to dark cymbal projection that was previously thought impossible. This exceptional ride cymbal combines funky stroke characteristics with rich tonal qualities, creating a simmering sound that cuts through any mix with remarkable clarity and presence.

What sets the HHX series apart is its groundbreaking "Tone Projection" design, developed by Sabian’s innovative Vault team. Unlike traditional dark cymbals that simply generate darkness, the HHX Groove Ride stirs up simmering heat and musical dirt that drummers crave, whilst projecting these qualities with unprecedented effectiveness.

The 21" Groove Ride features an agitated bite that complements its dark, simmering character perfectly. This cymbal doesn’t just produce sound — it ensures you’re both heard and felt, making it an essential addition to any serious drummer’s setup who demands superior projection without sacrificing the rich, complex tones that define great ride cymbals.
