Sabian 22116CSB AA 21inch Holy China Cymbal

Developed in collaboration with Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, the Sabian 22116CSB AA 21" Holy China stands as the loudest cymbal in SABIAN's entire catalogue. This modern China cymbal combines innovative design elements with forward–thinking engineering to create a truly monstrous sound that cuts through any mix with unparalleled volume and presence.

The Holy China features a distinctive higher profile construction that raises the pitch, while strategically placed holes enhance both volume and sustain characteristics. Its large, unfinished bell provides exceptional cut and remarkable durability, making it built to withstand the most demanding performances. The high profile design paired with a wide lip creates that signature monster loudness and cutting power that defines this exceptional instrument.

Unlike larger O–Zone holes that can introduce unwanted lows and distortion, the Holy China utilises smaller holes to produce a smooth attack with clarity and precision. Crafted from pure SABIAN B20 Cast Bronze, this cymbal represents the pinnacle of modern China cymbal design, offering professional drummers the ultimate tool for maximum volume and sonic impact.
