Sabian 22 inch AAX Medium Ride Cymbal - Brilliant Finish

The Sabian 22 inch AAX Medium Ride Cymbal in Brilliant Finish represents a masterful balance of stick definition and crash versatility that modern drummers demand. This exceptional cymbal features a smaller, raw bell design that provides outstanding stick sound and control whilst simultaneously enhancing its crash–ability for dynamic playing styles.

The slightly thinner weight profile, combined with Sabian's larger–rounder hammer peen technique, introduces darkness and complexity to complement the cymbal's inherently bright tonal character. This thoughtful construction creates a sophisticated sound palette that suits both subtle ride work and explosive crash applications.

Since 1993, Sabian's AAX series has consistently pushed boundaries in cymbal innovation, and today's redesigned lineup continues this tradition with enhanced versatility. The current AAX collection offers Thin, Medium, and Heavy models, allowing drummers to select cymbals based on specific weight, pitch, and projection requirements. The new larger–peen hammering process fortifies the entire range with Sabian's renowned darkness and complexity, making these cymbals a formidable choice for discerning players across all musical genres.
