The SABIAN 22" HHX Legacy Heavy Ride cymbal brings together crisp stick articulation with a foundation of warm, musical tone that cuts through any mix. This exceptional heavy ride maintains semidry clarity while delivering the rich, dark character that drummers crave in their sound.

HHX cymbals broke new ground by making darkness projectable – something previously impossible in cymbal design. The series generates simmering heat and musical dirt with an agitated bite that ensures you’re both heard and felt in any musical setting.

At the heart of this cymbal’s performance lies the innovative "Tone Projection" design, developed by SABIAN’s Vault team. This technology allows the HHX series to project its dark, simmering sound more effectively than other cymbal lines, giving drummers the musical dirt and heat they want in their playing.
