Compact yet powerful, the BBG Windshields bring full-sized wind protection to your microphone setup without the bulk. These innovative windshields slip directly onto your microphone body, making them ideal for handheld recording, interviews, and shock-mounted applications with Lyre suspensions. Their low-profile design makes them particularly suited to boom work where space is at a premium.

Built specifically for shorter microphones and those with bulbous ends, the BBG Windshields accommodate microphones with head diameters up to 80mm. They’re particularly popular for ORTF microphone pairs and other specialised recording configurations. The windshield mounts via a secure grommet system that grips the microphone body, with the mic pushed through to completely enclose the capsule.

Constructed from the same high-quality materials as full-size modular windshields, the BBG features a two-piece design that separates for easy fitting around ball-head or tapered microphone bodies. For extreme wind conditions, an optional furry Windjammer cover provides additional protection, ensuring your recordings remain clean and professional regardless of environmental challenges.
