Roland V-Combo VR-09-B Live Performance Keyboard

The Roland V-Combo VR-09-B stands as the ultimate gigging keyboard, combining lightweight portability with professional-grade sounds in one comprehensive instrument. This all-in-one solution features dedicated organ, acoustic/electric piano, and synth engines organised across three intuitive front-panel sections, giving performing musicians fingertip access to essential tones for any musical style. The smart user interface includes a clear LCD screen and powerful real-time controls, with hands-on sliders for tone shaping and an extensive array of knobs and buttons for tweaking seven simultaneous effects and numerous parameters.

Built specifically for live performance, the VR-09-B excels in authentic organ reproduction through Roland’s latest Virtual Tone Wheel Organ engine, which faithfully emulates every aspect of vintage tone wheel organs. Nine harmonic bars provide classic hands-on tone control, while three genre-oriented rotary effects make it simple to dial in the perfect sound for gospel, pop, jazz, or rock. Additional features like Twin Rotary effects, tube-style overdrive, and ring modulator add further sonic depth and aggression when needed.

The piano section covers all bases with historic electric piano types complemented by vintage effects including phaser, tremolo, touch wah, and tape delay. The acoustic grand piano features 88-note stereo multi-sampling that rivals Roland’s dedicated stage pianos. Meanwhile, the synth engine packs over 200 ready-to-play sounds ranging from Roland analog classics like JUNO strings and JUPITER pads to modern digital textures and organic ’80s-era D-50 sounds, all organised into one-touch categories for quick access during performance.
