Roland TR08 Rhythm Composer drum machine

The legendary TR-808 drum machine that shaped hip-hop, electronic, and dance music gets a faithful modern revival with the Roland Boutique TR-08. This meticulously crafted replica captures every sonic detail of the original 1980s classic through Roland’s advanced Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology, which models each analog circuit down to the component level. The authentic interface maintains all the buttons, knobs, and switches that made the TR-808 so intuitive and inspiring for musicians and producers.

While staying true to its heritage, the TR-08 incorporates thoughtful modern improvements that expand creative possibilities. The enhanced sequencer now features 16 sub-steps per step, perfect for crafting detailed snare fills and complex hi-hat patterns. Additional features include a track-selectable trigger output for external gear integration, an LED display for precise tempo and shuffle control, and the ability to program parts in real time without switching modes.

Built for today’s mobile music makers, the TR-08 runs on USB bus power or batteries and includes a built-in speaker for on-the-go monitoring. Complete MIDI implementation and USB audio/MIDI support ensure seamless integration with modern setups, while the included DK-01 Boutique Dock provides optimal panel positioning for any workspace.
