The hands-on workflow centres around a fully loaded control panel featuring 32 knobs, four sliders, and an extensive button array that eliminates menu diving and keeps creativity flowing. The multitimbral pattern sequencer offers 128 patterns with real-time recording capabilities, while unique features like D-Motion and Visual Arpeggio create performance effects through physical movement of the unit itself. Motion recording captures your knob movements and parameter changes, allowing you to build evolving soundscapes that develop organically over time.
Built for both studio work and mobile music-making, the SH-4d runs on batteries or USB-C power and includes comprehensive connectivity options. You'll find USB-C audio/MIDI interface, 5-pin MIDI I/O, clock input for modular sync, stereo outputs, headphone jack, and a 3.5mm input for mixing other instruments.
