Unlike smartphone recording apps, the R-07 provides dedicated recording functionality with one-touch Scene memory that automatically optimises sample rate, record mode, limiter, low cut, and input levels for any situation.

The R-07's advanced Bluetooth technology with Qualcomm® aptX™ allows wireless control via smartphones and smartwatches, plus monitoring through Bluetooth headphones or speakers. This wireless capability means you can position the recorder in optimal locations whilst maintaining full control from a distance, perfect for capturing natural performances without cable clutter or interference. The device supports both WAV formats (44.1/48/88.2/96 kHz at 16/24-bit) and MP3 recording from 64 to 320 kbps.

Professional reliability comes through Dual Recording and Hybrid Limiting features that prevent lost recordings due to overload or clipping. The R-07 simultaneously creates two recordings at different levels, automatically switching to the backup track if clipping occurs in the main recording. Additional features include an internal stereo microphone, 1/8" auxiliary/microphone input, headphone output, internal speaker for playback, plus tuner and metronome functions for musical applications. The recorder runs on two AA batteries or USB bus power and supports microSD card storage.
