The legendary sounds that shaped decades of electronic music production are now available in modern software form through SRX DANCE TRAX, one of the most comprehensive collections for dance music and electronica. Drawing from six different titles in Roland's acclaimed SRX and SR-JV80 wave expansion board series, this collection offers over 2000 waveforms and 567 patches packed with loops, grooves, synths, scratches, stabs, sound effects, and hundreds of individual drum sounds including kicks and snares. From hip-hop and techno to house, trance, and drum 'n' bass, these sounds will turn your compositions into foot-stomping party anthems.

Before virtual instrument plug-ins became the standard, Roland keyboards and sound modules served as the professional solution for accessing diverse, high-quality sounds in a single unit. Instruments such as the JV-1080, XP-80, and XV-5080 could be expanded with user-installable boards, each containing specialised sampled waveforms for different musical styles and genres. After introducing this concept in 1992 with the JV-80 synth, Roland's wave expansion board catalogue eventually grew to over 30 titles across two formats and multiple instrument generations.
