The KIYOLA KF‐25 is an artisan digital piano developed through a collaboration between Roland and Japanese high‐end furniture manufacturer Karimoku. Defined by clean lines and precise geometry, the KF‐25 presents a modern, architectural alternative within the KIYOLA range.
The cabinet design is built around the traditional Sashimono woodworking technique, where boards are joined cleanly at right angles without the use of nails. This centuries‐old method delivers structural strength while highlighting the natural beauty of the wood. The deep Smoked Oak finish was selected to complement the KF‐25’s linear form and emphasise the richness of the grain.
Sound generation is handled by Roland’s Piano Reality Modeling technology, delivering a detailed and expressive playing experience. The PHA‐50 keyboard provides high‐precision sensing and authentic grand piano feel, supported by a three‐pedal unit for traditional piano techniques.
Connectivity includes USB ports for computers and flash storage, Bluetooth® for wireless audio and app integration, and dual headphone outputs for private practice. The KF‐25 is available exclusively in Smoked Oak, reinforcing its bold, contemporary visual identity.
