The KIYOLA KF‐20 is an artisan digital piano developed through a collaboration between Roland and Japanese high‐end furniture manufacturer Karimoku. Designed to sit naturally within modern living spaces, the KF‐20 combines premium piano technology with refined cabinet craftsmanship.
The curved cabinet design draws on traditional Hikimono woodworking techniques, where wood is carefully prepared to achieve smooth, rounded forms. Hand assembly and gently flowing lines give the instrument a distinctive presence that balances Scandinavian simplicity with Japanese design sensibility.
Sound generation is handled by Roland’s Piano Reality Modeling technology, delivering an immersive and responsive playing experience. The PHA‐50 keyboard provides high‐precision sensing and authentic grand piano feel, supported by a three‐pedal unit for traditional piano techniques.
Connectivity options include USB ports for computers and flash storage, Bluetooth® for wireless audio and app integration, and dual headphone outputs for private practice. The KF‐20 is available in Pure Oak, Sheer White, Celadon Green, and Walnut finishes, each selected to highlight the natural character of the materials.
