Roland’s KC amplifiers have been the trusted choice of keyboard players worldwide for more than twenty years, setting the standard for high-fidelity sound reproduction and professional reliability. The KC-400 continues this legacy with 150 watts of powerful, punchy sound housed in a compact cabinet that features Roland’s patented twin bass-reflex design. This innovative design provides extended low-frequency response without distortion, while the newly redesigned power section offers improved bass performance for 88-note stage pianos, organs, synthesizers, and electronic instruments. The efficient new power section also reduces overall weight, making transport between gigs much easier.
Connectivity options are comprehensive with four line input channels accommodating keyboards, percussion pads, and drum machines, plus a dedicated auxiliary input for smartphones or music players running backing tracks. Channel 1 includes an XLR input for vocal microphones, whilst the Output Select function on Channel 4 provides flexible monitoring options for click and guide tracks. All line and auxiliary inputs support stereo connections, allowing stereo sound transmission to PA systems or recording devices.
Professional integration is seamless thanks to stereo line outputs on 1/4-inch jacks for PA systems, stage monitors, and recording equipment. A Sub Out jack connects to powered subwoofers with level control tied to the master volume, whilst the headphones jack enables silent practice and discrete stage monitoring. The Stereo Link function allows expansion by connecting a second KC-400, doubling available inputs and splitting left and right signals across both amplifiers for studio-quality stereo monitoring during live performances.
