This modern recreation combines the original’s 108 waveforms with advanced modelling techniques, perfectly capturing the four-tone structure and unique two-part multi-effects that defined the JD-800’s intricate, evolving sound palette. With 64 authentic presets from the original hardware plus 256 memory locations, you’ll have plenty of room to explore the extensive array of controls and craft your own electronic masterpieces.

Beyond faithful recreation, the JD-08 adds significant modern enhancements including expanded polyphony and two-part multitimbral capability. The built-in two-part polyphonic sequencer lets you program leads, basslines, and chord progressions that sync seamlessly with your electronic setup, while motion recording and the onboard arpeggiator add animated movement to your musical lines.

Connectivity is comprehensive with a built-in USB-C audio/MIDI interface for computer integration, full-size MIDI I/O for hardware interfacing, and an external clock input for syncing with vintage analog gear and Eurorack systems.
