This compact powerhouse connects wirelessly to BOSS products including the EURUS GS-1, Waza-Air, and Katana-Air systems, plus any device capable of receiving CC messages via Bluetooth® MIDI. Beyond wireless capabilities, USB and MIDI TRS connectivity ensure compatibility with computer music software and standard MIDI devices, giving you the flexibility to operate wired, wireless, or both simultaneously.

Perfect for the expanding ecosystem of Bluetooth-enabled music hardware, the EV-1-WL excels at controlling pitch bend, filter functions, and other synth parameters in the BOSS EURUS GS-1 guitar. Add external footswitches to build a compact Bluetooth pedalboard for patch selection and wah/volume control with Waza-Air and Katana-Air wireless systems. The pedal also communicates wirelessly with standard 5-pin MIDI devices fitted with the Roland WM-1 Wireless MIDI Adaptor.

Mac computers, smartphones, and tablets pair effortlessly via Bluetooth for seamless integration with music apps supporting MIDI CC remote operation — from guitar amp simulators to virtual instruments and production software. Windows users can add a Roland WM-1D dongle for wireless communication. The space-saving TRS MIDI output connects to various MIDI hardware using TRS-to-TRS cables for BOSS pedals with TRS MIDI, or the BOSS BMIDI-5-35 cable for standard 5-pin MIDI devices.

The free EV-1-WL Editor app for iOS and Android provides comprehensive customisation of MIDI CC assignments for the pedal, toe switch, and up to two external footswitches. All three outputs — Bluetooth, USB, and TRS MIDI — operate simultaneously with independent control settings for each. Additional features include momentary or latching switch operation and adjustable pedal response curves.
