Rode VideoMicro Compact On-Camera Microphone

Capture professional-grade audio that matches your video quality with the RØDE VideoMicro, a compact on-camera microphone engineered for content creators who demand excellence. This directional cardioid condenser microphone works seamlessly with a wide range of cameras, producing high-quality recordings whilst its forgiving pickup pattern ensures natural sound reproduction during indoor filming sessions. The microphone's focused directional design effectively reduces peripheral noise, concentrating on audio sources positioned in front of the camera for cleaner, more professional results.

Built to professional standards, the VideoMicro features RØDE's signature ceramic anti-glare black coating and an aluminium body construction that actively rejects RF interference. The microphone operates without batteries, drawing power directly from your camera once connected, making it an incredibly convenient solution for extended recording sessions.

The VideoMicro comes complete with a camera shoe featuring a Rycote Lyre shock mount and thermoplastic suspension structure, specifically designed to minimise vibrations and handling noise from cables and movement. This robust shock mount system is guaranteed against sagging, snapping, wear, or the need for rethreading, ensuring long-term reliability. Additionally, the included WS9 synthetic furry windshield with foam inner cell provides essential protection against wind and environmental noise, making it ideal for outdoor recording applications.
