RODE VideoMic Pro Plus VMP+ Compact Directional On Camera Microphone

The RØDE VideoMic Pro+ sets a new benchmark in on-camera microphone technology, combining professional shotgun performance with intelligent automation features. This advanced microphone is engineered for camcorders, DSLR cameras and portable audio recorders, serving as both primary and reference audio source for serious content creators.

Building upon the acclaimed VideoMic Pro foundation, this model retains the superior Rycote Lyre suspension system whilst introducing significant improvements to the capsule, line tube and windshield design. The Automatic Power Function represents a breakthrough for run-and-gun shooting scenarios, intelligently powering down the microphone when disconnected from your camera, whilst plug-in power capability ensures seamless operation.

Power management becomes effortless with three flexible options: the included RØDE LB-1 Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery, standard 2 x AA batteries, or continuous operation via Micro USB connection. The integrated battery door design prevents loss whilst making battery changes quick and simple during shoots.

Digital switching technology ensures optimal audio signal capture at source, significantly reducing post-production requirements and editing time. This professional-grade feature allows users to achieve broadcast-quality results straight from the microphone, streamlining the entire production workflow.
