Built for the demands of professional audio production, the RØDE NT3 combines studio-grade performance with the rugged reliability needed for location recording. This versatile condenser microphone operates seamlessly on both 48V phantom power and internal 9V battery, making it equally at home in the studio or out in the field.
The NT3 features a true externally polarised condenser transducer housed within an internal capsule shock mounting system, paired with ultra-low noise electronics that resist R.F. interference. Its pressure gradient acoustic principle and 0.75" capsule capture audio across the full 20Hz to 20kHz frequency range, while the JFET impedance converter with bipolar output buffer maintains pristine signal integrity.
Engineered for durability, the microphone incorporates a rugged welded and heat-treated mesh head with an all-metal body construction. With a maximum SPL of 140dB and equivalent noise level of just 16dB-A, the NT3 handles everything from delicate acoustic recordings to high-volume sources. The microphone measures 206mm in length, weighs 371g, and connects via standard XLR output for professional compatibility.
