Rode BROADCASTer broadcast voice condenser microphone

Make your podcast, radio show, voice over work or television broadcast sound crisper and clearer when you connect the Road Broadcaster precision, large-diaphragm condenser microphone. Rode tailors this mic with a proximity effect that makes is perfect for on-air applications that need to pick up low-frequency sounds that capture the nuance of every word you speak.

This mic has an internal pop filter, thereby obviating the need to buy an external type, to reduce plosive sounds created by a strong exhale as someone talks into the microphone. The internal pop filter also helps prevent audio distortions and microphone overloads that can harm the signal going to the amp. Keep background noise away from your work with a selectable high-pass filter at 75 hertz. Think air conditioners, background hums, buzzing insects or traffic noises that may infiltrate your recording.

The Broadcaster features an innovative "On-Air" indicator on the body. Feel free to wire it for external activation through your console's "Channel On/Mute" function. The indicator remains lit whenever the microphone has power if you don't connect it to a console. The Rode Broadcaster microphone comes with a 10-year warranty.
