Extend your professional windshield system to accommodate longer shotgun microphones with the RØDE Blimp Extension kit. This specialised add-on component expands the capabilities of your original RØDE Blimp windshield system, enabling you to use extended shotgun microphones including the RØDE NTG8 and any shotgun with a barrel length reaching up to 600mm.

The comprehensive kit provides everything needed for professional wind protection on longer microphones. You’ll receive a 256mm blimp extension piece, two sets of rigid silicone bands for secure mounting, an extra-long DeadWombat fur windshield, and a furry brush for maintenance. Please note that the original RØDE Blimp is required for operation, and this extension is not compatible with the 2014 RØDE Blimp model.

Built for field recording professionals, the extension weighs just 125 grams and measures 122mm in height, 265mm in width, and 122mm in depth. RØDE backs this professional audio accessory with a comprehensive 1-year warranty, ensuring reliable performance in demanding recording environments.
