RME's DPS-2 linear power supply redefines clean power delivery with its innovative dual-output design and compact half-rack form factor. Built on the proven ADI-2 series chassis, this exceptional unit features two distinctly filtered outputs that cater to different power requirements. The Linear output utilises traditional DC delivery enhanced by multi-stage passive and active filtering, including a substantial 30,000 �F capacitor bank, ferrite choke, and active output filter with hybrid voltage regulation.
The second output showcases RME's proprietary �Filter technology, processing the pre-filtered Linear signal through highly efficient active filters to achieve remarkably clean DC output with mere micro-volt noise levels. This output incorporates sensor technology that measures and adapts voltage directly at the DC connector, ensuring optimal performance. Two DC sensor connection cables with lockable and non-lockable 2.1 x 5.5 mm plugs are included, though only one output can be used at a time.
The DPS-2 maintains a stable +12.0 V output at 2.5 A load with extremely low output impedance and load regulation, eliminating voltage drops under varying loads. Additional features include 2-stage HF and DC filtering on the AC mains side, plus a 60 VA audio toroidal transformer with isolation winding and magnetic tape shielding. This comprehensive approach ensures completely hum and noise-free operation in any environment, making it ideal for professional audio applications.
