Remo Starfire 20" Ambassador Bass Drum Head (Gold)

Remo's 20" Starfire Gold Ambassador Bass Drum Head brings warm, controlled resonance to kick drums and floor toms. The single–ply 12–mil laminated film delivers a focused tone with genuine sustain, steering clear of unwanted ring and mud. Its reflective gold finish catches stage light while sitting naturally in a recording mix, making it the go–to choice for drummers after measured low–end presence.

Built as a resonant head, this Starfire Gold excels beneath your batter head in paired configurations. The 12–mil gauge strikes the balance between responsiveness and tonal weight—thick enough to avoid flabbiness, thin enough to breathe. Remo's laminated film technology anchors the tone centre and tames sustain, so your bass drum locks tight with the kick pedal rather than washing across the beat. The gold aesthetic brings polish to your kit without sacrificing acoustic clarity.
