Remo BB-1322-00-SMT Emperor Clear Bass Drumhead, 22 Inch

Unlock the full sonic potential of your kit with the Emperor® SMT™ Clear bass drumhead, a revolutionary pre–muffled design that redefines what’s possible from your bass drum. This innovative drumhead incorporates Sub Muffl® Technology and features a sophisticated 2–ply construction using 7–mil and 5–mil Clear film layers, combined with an externally mounted dampening profile that includes free–floating acoustic foam.

The SMT technology provides drummers with an exceptionally broad tonal spectrum across various tuning ranges, offering controlled high and mid frequencies while maintaining deep, powerful low tones. This design allows both the drumhead and drum shell to preserve their full sound characteristics whilst adding enhanced attack and robust low–end frequencies that cut through any mix.

Recognised as a new industry standard, this drumhead stands out as one of the market’s most musical and versatile pre–muffled bass drumheads available today. Its exceptional performance makes it perfectly suited for both live performance and studio recording applications, giving drummers the flexibility they need across different musical contexts.
