Radial Station Studio Reamp Combination Active Direct Box & Reamp JCR

Studio professionals and home recording enthusiasts now have access to two essential recording tools combined into one powerful chassis with the Reamp Station. This innovative unit houses both an active DI box for capturing pristine instrument recordings and the acclaimed JCR high-performance Reamper for feeding those recordings back to guitar amps and pedals during mixdown. The active DI section draws from Radial's renowned J48 design, with specific modifications to maximise recording quality for future reamping applications.

The DI circuit includes a buffer switch that engages a unity-gain Class-A buffer on the Thru output, preventing passive pickup loading when connected to amplifiers and preserving your instrument's natural tone. Powered via 48V phantom from your interface or mixer, the unit requires no separate power supply and features a front panel LED for visual power confirmation. The reamper section utilises the proven JCR circuit, originally designed by acclaimed engineer John Cuniberti, featuring a custom-wound 'Made in the USA' transformer that converts line-level signals to optimally feed guitar pedals and amplifiers.

Additional features include a level control, 3-position filter, and mute switch for safe mic placement adjustments on live amps. Beyond the standard XLR and balanced 1/4" TRS inputs, a 3.5mm mini input allows easy connection to mobile devices like smartphones and tablets for streamlined playback. The unit is rack mountable using the optional SA Series rack adaptor, and Link In/Out connections enable daisy-chaining multiple Reamp Stations for larger studio setups.
