The Radial ProAV1 passive direct box cuts through the complexity of audio-video integration with its ingenious ‘Swiss Army’ approach to connectivity. Purpose-built for AV integrators, this unit features multiple stereo inputs that are summed to mono through a resistive mixer, dramatically simplifying signal management in professional installations.

Gone are the days of hunting for adaptors – the ProAV1 accommodates virtually any source with its comprehensive input array. You’ll find 1/4” inputs for instruments, RCA and 3.5mm connectors for CD players, iPods, video decks and computers, plus a female XLR input for professional +4dB equipment. The front panel connectors double as thru-puts, creating multiple patch points for enhanced routing flexibility.

At the heart of the ProAV1 are custom-wound Eclipse ET-DB2 transformers, engineered to handle exceptionally hot signal levels whilst maintaining pristine linearity across the full 20Hz to 20kHz spectrum. The resulting smooth Bessel curve produces a warm, natural character that tames harsh digital sources, whilst transformer isolation eliminates troublesome hum, buzz and ground loop issues that plague many installations.
