Radial HDI High Definition Studio Direct Box / DI w/ Jensen Transformers

The HDI direct box brings studio-grade recording capabilities to any instrument through its sophisticated yet intuitive design. Built around premium Jensen transformers, this professional DI unit features a unique Color control that opens up an entirely fresh sonic palette whilst maintaining that familiar, musical character musicians love. The elegant control layout ensures you can achieve record-ready sounds with minimal fuss, making it perfect for both seasoned engineers and musicians looking to capture their best performances.

At the heart of the HDI's functionality lies the responsive Level control, which drives the unit's inputs while providing instant visual feedback through the front panel meter. The Color knob offers seamless blending from ultra-clean tones through to amp-style distortion and saturation, allowing you to dial in precisely the right amount of character and grit for your instrument. This flexibility makes the HDI suitable for everything from pristine acoustic recordings to more aggressive, saturated sounds.

The HDI's visual appeal matches its sonic capabilities, featuring a gunmetal anodised 1/2" thick milled front panel with distinctive styling that recalls classic outboard studio equipment. The custom output meter provides quick level checks, whilst oversized chrome knobs ensure precise adjustments and easy tweaking during sessions. This combination of premium build quality and thoughtful design makes the HDI a standout addition to any recording space.
