Built with QSC’s road-proven designs, this amplifier incorporates high-current toroidal transformers that ensure exceptional 2-ohm power output whilst maintaining low noise levels. The unit features comprehensive protection systems including full short circuit, open circuit, thermal, ultrasonic, and RF protection, remaining stable even when faced with reactive or mismatched loads. A continuously variable speed fan provides efficient back-to-front airflow cooling to maintain optimal performance during extended use.
Connectivity options are extensive, with each channel offering active balanced inputs via 3-pin Euro-style detachable terminal blocks and XLR connections (pin 2+), plus balanced 1/4" TRS and barrier strip inputs. Output connections include touch-proof binding posts and Neutrik Speakon® outputs for secure speaker connections. Additionally, selectable low-frequency filters at 30Hz or 50Hz help protect connected speakers whilst increasing available headroom for cleaner sound reproduction.
