A 26.5-inch scale length gives the PRS Tekton SVN extra string tension and low-end clarity, which matters when the low string sits below standard range. It is the first seven-string in PRS's American-made catalogue, built on the thin-bodied Tekton platform. A figured mango top over a mahogany back, with a shallow violin carve and an upper-fret scoop, keeps the weight down and the upper register easy to reach.
The PRS Stylus SVN humbuckers were voiced specifically for the Tekton family, with Alnico 5 magnets and lower output than many genre-focused pickups. That favours articulation and keeps definition across the frequency range under high gain, whether the signal runs to a tube amp, a modeller or a recording rig. Split sounds stay usable in every position. The Modern “D” SVN neck carries stainless steel frets on a 16-inch radius ebony fingerboard with offset dot inlays.
The hardtail bridge uses individual saddles for intonation and a string-through design for added resonance and sustain. Phase III locking tuners hold pitch, and the guitar ships strung with PRS Signature 10–59 sets. The neck measures 1 29/32 inches at the nut and 2⅝ inches at the body. Fuchsia Aura is shown here, with a PRS Premium gig bag included.
