A figured mango top over a mahogany back, finished in high-gloss nitro, gives the PRS Tekton T its recognisable PRS look, with a subtly offset body and shallow violin carve. The scarfed maple neck uses a Modern “D” profile with a satin nitro finish, a sculpted heel and scooped upper-fret access. Scale length is 25.5 inches, with 24 stainless steel jumbo frets on a 16-inch radius ebony fingerboard. The two-point tremolo adds expressive vibrato to the Tekton platform.
PRS Stylus humbuckers, developed for the Tekton family, use Alnico 5 magnets and moderate output to favour note definition over raw gain. Their flatter output keeps some character through a tube amp while suiting digital rigs, and they stay clear in every position, split or full. Wider string spacing, matching the Silver Sky and Fiore, gives arpeggios and precise pick attack more room. Controls stay simple: one volume, a push/pull tone for coil-splitting and a three-way blade switch.
The steel-plate tremolo with brass saddles can be set to float for vibrato while staying stable, and Phase III locking tuners help tuning hold steady. It ships strung with 10–46 PRS Signature strings and comes with a PRS Premium gig bag. Slate Blue with a natural neck is shown here, with Imperial Topaz, Black Tourmaline, Violet Tourmaline, Bloodstone Red and Fuchsia Aura also in the range.
