A figured mango top, a shallow violin carve and a subtly offset mahogany body mark the PRS Tekton T as a PRS at first glance, but the two-point tremolo is what separates it from the rest of the Tekton range. The steel plate and brass saddles can be set to float for expressive vibrato without wrecking tuning stability, and Phase III locking tuners keep pitch steady. This Bloodstone Aura model pairs the high-gloss nitro body with a black satin neck.
The scarfed maple neck has a Modern “D” profile, a sculpted heel and scooped upper-fret access. Scale length is 25.5 inches, with 24 stainless steel jumbo frets on a 16-inch radius ebony fingerboard. String spacing is wider than on older PRS models, matching the Silver Sky and Fiore, which gives arpeggios and precise pick attack more room. Fast lead work and technical passages sit comfortably under the hand.
PRS Stylus humbuckers were voiced for the Tekton family, with Alnico 5 magnets and moderate output that favour note definition over raw gain. Their flatter output keeps some character through a tube amp while suiting digital rigs, and they stay clear in both split and full modes. Controls are a volume, a push/pull tone for coil-splitting and a three-way blade switch. A PRS Premium gig bag is included.
