A Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo on a 16-inch radius sets the PRS Tekton “Floyd” apart from the rest of the Tekton range, giving dive bombs, flutter effects and wide vibrato a stable footing. This electric guitar swaps the mango-topped look for a lightweight alder body with a shallow violin carve, sculpted contours and the same upper-fret scoop. The Pearl Black finish with natural neck is a classic pairing.
The scarfed maple neck carries a thin Modern “D” profile, 25.5-inch scale length and an ebony fingerboard on a 16-inch radius, with 24 stainless steel frets that hold up to aggressive technique. Width is 1 11/16-inch at the nut and 2¼-inch at the body. Non-locking Phase III tuners keep weight down and help tone transfer, while the high-gloss nitro body and satin nitro neck keep things slick under the hand.
Stylus humbuckers were voiced with a flatter response to stay clear under gain without flattening dynamics, and they sit comfortably in front of tube amps and digital rigs alike. Controls are a volume, push/pull tone for coil-split and a three-way blade switch. Offset dot inlays and blue Luminlay side dots help on dark stages. A PRS Premium gig bag is included, and PRS Signature 10–46 strings come fitted.
