A Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo on a 16-inch radius sets the PRS Tekton “Floyd” apart from the rest of the Tekton range. This electric guitar is built for players who lean on dive bombs, flutter effects and wide vibrato. Unlike the mango-topped Tektons, the body is lightweight alder with a shallow violin carve, sculpted contours and the same upper-fret scoop. This Hot Pink model comes with a black satin neck and a PRS Premium gig bag.
The neck is scarfed maple with an ebony fingerboard, a Modern “D” profile, 25.5-inch scale and 16-inch radius. Twenty-four stainless steel frets stand up to aggressive technique, and blue Luminlay side dots help on dark stages. Width is 1 11/16-inch at the nut and 2¼-inch at the body. The body wears high-gloss nitro, while the neck is satin nitro. Non-locking Phase III tuners keep weight down and promote tone transfer.
Stylus humbuckers are voiced with a flatter response, so clarity holds under gain while dynamics stay intact, through tube amps and digital rigs alike. Controls are one volume, a push/pull tone for coil-splitting and a three-way blade switch. Each position is voiced to sound good alone and in combination. PRS Signature 10–46 strings come fitted.
