PRS SE Swamp Ash Special Electric Guitar - Iri Blue

The PRS SE Swamp Ash Special brings a distinctive voice to the acclaimed SE Series with its swamp ash construction and maple-on-maple neck combination. This 22-fret instrument features a shallow violin top carve and wide thin neck profile with a 25" scale length, creating an exceptionally comfortable playing experience. The maple fretboard sports a 10" radius with classic Birds inlays, while PRS-designed tuners and the company’s patented tremolo system ensure reliable performance.

At the heart of this guitar’s versatility lies its unique pickup configuration - 85/15 “S” humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions flanking a specially-designed AS-01 single coil in the middle. The AS-01 incorporates both alnico and steel components, adding mass that contributes to its powerful output. Combined with a push-pull tone control and 3-way toggle switch, this electronics package opens up an impressive range of tonal possibilities.

The SE Swamp Ash Special excels across multiple musical styles, offering tight low-end response, bright yet mellow highs, and that coveted twangy character that works beautifully for hot country, blues, and jazz applications. Complete with a quality gig bag, this instrument represents exceptional value in PRS’s expanding SE lineup.
