The SE Hollowbody II Piezo bridges the gap between acoustic warmth and electric power, offering musicians a single instrument that excels in both worlds. Built with a maple back and top paired with mahogany sides, this guitar provides a distinctive light shimmer and snap that cuts through any mix. The 58/15 LT "S" pickups bring clarity and balance to the hollowbody platform, producing tones that are both big and musical.

At the heart of this instrument lies the LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system, giving players access to authentic acoustic tones alongside traditional electric sounds. The guitar features two separate volume controls for magnetic and piezo pickups, plus dual output jacks (mix/piezo and magnetics). Musicians can connect to the "Mix/Piezo" jack and blend both pickup systems using the individual volume controls for hybrid tones.

For maximum flexibility, both output jacks can be used simultaneously, allowing the magnetic pickups to feed an electric amp while the piezo runs through an acoustic amplifier or direct to the mixing desk. The design includes a clever failsafe feature - when using only the magnetic output jack, the piezo battery is completely bypassed, ensuring the electric pickups continue working even if the piezo battery runs flat.
