The PRS–Designed DS–01 pickup in the treble position produces bright, chimey tones, while the Type–D Singlecoil in the bass position adds distinctive bite to your playing. The coil–tap feature on the tone control splits the treble pickup to singlecoils, creating a balanced sound that cuts through any mix with remarkable clarity and style.

The guitar is anchored by PRS’s innovative plate–style bridge featuring two specially designed saddles for precise intonation compensation. This top–loading bridge design makes restringing effortless while paying homage to Paul’s early designs and traditional bass plate–style bridges. With brass saddles and an aluminium plate construction, this bridge maximises tonal sustain, mirroring the quality found on Paul’s Guitar and select Private Stock models.
