The S2 Vela Satin brings vintage charm and modern attitude together in one compelling package, featuring a distinctive offset body shape wrapped in a satin nitro finish that enhances both resonance and playability. This guitar stands out with its contemporary design approach whilst maintaining classic tonal characteristics that give it genuine personality and texture.

The pickguard–mounted electronics showcase carefully selected PRS–designed pickups that provide versatile tonal options. The DS–01 pickup in the treble position offers bright, punky characteristics, while the Type–D Single–Coil in the bass position adds notable bite to your sound. The tone control includes a coil–tap function that splits the treble pickup to single coils, creating a balanced tone that cuts through any mix with clarity and style.

At the heart of this instrument sits PRS’s plate–style bridge featuring two saddles designed for proper intonation compensation. This bridge design draws inspiration from Paul’s early work and traditional bass plate–style bridges, but incorporates top–loading for convenient string changes. The combination of brass saddles and aluminium plate construction maximises tonal sustain, similar to the bridge found on Paul’s Guitar and select Private Stock models.
