The coil–tap function on the tone control adds remarkable versatility by splitting the DS–01 humbucker into single coil mode, opening up an entirely new palette of tonal possibilities.

The PRS plate–style bridge system incorporates two brass saddles that have been specifically engineered to maximise sustain and ensure perfect intonation across the entire fretboard.
