PRS S2 Vela (Antique White) inc Gig Bag

The PRS S2 Vela breaks new ground as the company's first offset body design, combining the legendary PRS craftsmanship with a bold, contemporary aesthetic that stands out from the crowd. This guitar represents a fresh direction for PRS whilst maintaining the build quality and reliability that players have come to expect from the brand.

At the heart of the Vela's sound is a carefully selected pickup combination featuring a PRS DS–01 humbucker in the bridge position paired with a PRS Narrowfield pickup at the neck. This configuration produces bright, punchy tones that work brilliantly through effects pedals or straight into your amplifier. The coil–tap function on the tone control splits the DS–01 humbucker into single–coil mode, opening up an expanded palette of tonal possibilities.

The guitar features PRS's plate–style bridge system with two brass saddles engineered for optimal sustain and precise intonation across the entire fretboard. For 2024, the S2 Series receives a significant upgrade with USA–made pickups and electronics after a decade of production, making this an exciting time to invest in PRS quality at this price point.
