PRS S2 Special Semi Hollow (Dark Cherry Sunburst) inc Gig Bag

The PRS S2 Special Semi–Hollow stands as a masterclass in tonal versatility, combining semi–hollow construction with innovative pickup technology for players who demand sonic flexibility. Built around a mahogany body with carved maple top and single F–hole design, this guitar achieves an impressive balance between warmth, clarity, and natural resonance that suits both studio work and live performance.

At the heart of this instrument lies a unique three–pickup configuration featuring dual 58/15 LT humbuckers complemented by a Narrowfield DD pickup in the middle position. This setup unlocks twelve distinct pickup combinations through the 5–way blade switch and dual mini–toggle coil–split switches, providing an expansive tonal palette that spans articulate clean tones through to vintage–inspired overdrive textures.

The playing experience centres on a 22–fret mahogany neck with Pattern Regular profile and 25" scale length, topped with a rosewood fretboard adorned with bird inlays for smooth, comfortable performance. Equipped with PRS’s patented tremolo system and Phase III locking tuners, the S2 Special maintains excellent tuning stability while offering expressive vibrato control that meets the demands of contemporary players.
