Following the design philosophy of the PRS Archon amplifier, it features five gain stages before the Master control, creating full, lush distortion that maintains note definition even at high gain levels. The Lead channel produces big, chunky tones with massive, tight low-end response, while a push/pull overdrive control removes two gain stages to access vintage, crunchier “mid gain” textures.

The clean channel offers bright, chimey tones that excel with both chord work and fingerstyle playing, complemented by a push/pull boost control that adds subtle overdrive for classic crunch sounds. Additional professional features include an effects loop and easily accessible bias adjusters on the back panel for straightforward servicing.
