The PRS MT 15 is a two–channel lunchbox head developed with Mark Tremonti to deliver high–gain tube saturation and articulate cleans in a compact 15–watt package. Power switching between 15 and 7 watts allows full–throttle tone at bedroom and stage volumes alike. This is a pure tube design built around a quartet of 12AX7 preamp tubes and a pair of EL84 power tubes, delivering the aggressive midrange punch and harmonic complexity that defined Tremonti's recorded and live sound throughout his career with Alter Bridge and Creed.
The clean channel provides volume and tone controls alongside a bright switch that lifts presence without harshness, while the lead channel offers gain, bass, middle, treble, and a master volume with presence control for shaping high–frequency response. A half–power switch drops output from 15 to 7 watts without sacrificing tonal character, maintaining power tube saturation at lower speaker levels. The rear panel houses a series effects loop, dual 8–ohm and single 16–ohm speaker outputs, and bias test points for tube maintenance. Footswitchable channel selection comes standard.
