PRS's McCarty 594 Mango Limited Edition pairs one of the maker's most resonant body designs with woods that shift character as the light moves. Only 200 units exist, each featuring a figured mango top over mahogany, a ziricote fretboard, and McCarty III humbucking pickups that deliver warm, vocal–like clarity across blues, rock, and jazz applications. The 24.594” scale length and bound neck anchor a familiar playing feel that rewards both rhythm and lead work.
Hardware comprises a zinc two–piece bridge with brass saddles and Phase III tuners with wing buttons—components selected for resonance and tuning stability over time. The mahogany body sits on the thicker side, building sustain and warmth into the fundamental voice. McCarty III pickups respond dynamically to pick attack and finger dynamics, opening from full humbucking character to articulate, single–coil–like textures depending on playing dynamics and amp voicing.
The figured mango grain creates visible depth and movement across the finish, making each instrument visually distinct. This edition targets players seeking tonal depth rooted in vintage design principles while maintaining the responsiveness needed for modern recording and live work. Includes hard case.
