The DW CE 24 "Floyd" builds upon PRS’s proven CE bolt–on platform, featuring a satin–finished maple neck and fretboard combination. Waring’s slightly modified Pattern Thin neck carve runs thinner front to back than the standard profile, paired with a Floyd Rose tremolo system for maximum tonal versatility.

At the heart of this signature axe are Waring’s custom Mojotone Dustie Waring Gen 2 Tomahawk pickups. These pickups utilise superior quality Alnico 5 magnets with a special winding technique, producing substantial output and impressive bottom end whilst maintaining articulate clarity – a rare combination for high–gain applications. The electronics package includes volume and tone controls alongside a 5–way blade pickup selector, all strategically repositioned to provide ample working room around the tremolo.
