Protection Racket's Roadie Backpack is a purpose–built carry solution for musicians who need reliable gear transport beyond the venue. The pack combines practical daylighter proportions with musician–specific internals, including a dedicated laptop compartment fitted with a neoprene sprung base to absorb shock. At 50cm × 25cm × 14cm, it sits between cramped sling bags and unwieldy rolling cases, making it a pragmatic middle ground for touring techs and working musicians.
Construction centres on a vented back panel paired with padded shoulder straps–essential when weight distribution matters during long load–in sessions. Three large outer pockets provide accessible storage for cables, tools, and IEMs without requiring full pack entry. The overall package tips the scales at 2.0kg, light enough to not become ballast itself. Internal capacity and compartmentalisation are engineered to accommodate hardwired peripherals alongside fragile equipment, making this pack suited to both studio commutes and backline duties.
