Protection Racket's Acoustic Bass Standard case is a purpose–built transport solution engineered around a lightweight polypropylene frame with dual–sided foam lining. The 600 denier Racketex polyester exterior delivers robust protection without excess bulk, whilst the internal Velvetex brushed cotton prevents finish wear. The design philosophy centres on accessibility and security—a category leader among bass players who demand reliable protection for instruments worth genuine investment.
Internal dimensions span 14.5" lower bow width, 48.75" length, and 4" depth, accommodating standard acoustic bass shells and hardware. Two front pockets provide pragmatic storage: a large zippered 14" × 14" × 2" pocket for accessories, plus a smaller 12" × 9" × 1" compartment with dedicated phone, wallet, pen, and card holders. Ergonomic padded shoulder straps integrate two rear retaining panels for transit transit, whilst the rear grab handle permits upright carrying. Adjustable and removable internal neck and base blocks accommodate varying instrument geometries, and dual Racketex string protection panels at bridge and neck positions prevent contact damage during movement.
At 4.0 kg, the case balances substantial protection with genuine portability across venues and studios. The combination of rigid frame construction, padded carrying systems, and precision interior fitment makes it a considered choice for players seeking durable, no–nonsense equipment management rather than trend–focused aesthetics.
