Protection Racket Nutcase 8x8" Tom Case

Protection Racket's Nutcase range brings genuine durability to the entry–level tom case market without the weight penalty. The 8×8" tom case (catalogue N08X8T) is engineered around a philosophy borrowed from the company's professional Proline cases: tough materials paired with thoughtful design that doesn't sacrifice portability. Built for drummers who need reliable transport without breaking stride or budget.

Construction centres on a 20mm dense foam core that absorbs impact while remaining light, wrapped in abrasive–resistant outer fabric that resists stretch and shrinkage. Internal dimensions measure 10" × 9", accommodating 8" tom shells with their hardware and fittings. The interior finish uses 210–denier nylon to guard against rips and tears during repeated handling. Brushed steel zipper pulls and ergonomic handles are designed for comfort during frequent transport, whilst the egg–shaped profile creates space for tom suspension mounting systems.

The Nutcase sits at an intersection: engineered enough for intermediate players gigging regularly, straightforward enough for bedroom drummers protecting their kit during rehearsals or storage. Internal space allowances account for mounted hardware, so packing remains practical without forcing shells or accessories into awkward angles.
