Protection Racket Nutcase 13x9" Tom Case

The Protection Racket Nutcase 13×9" Tom Case (N13X9T) represents a stripped-down, physics-first approach to drum transport. Built on the foundations of Protection Racket's premium Proline range, Nutcases prioritise lightweight construction and genuine impact resistance without the luxury markup. The egg-shaped profile accommodates suspended isolation mounting systems, making it equally suited to studio kit breakdowns and touring setups where every kilogramme counts.

Construction centres on a 20mm dense foam core wrapped in abrasion-resistant outer fabric that resists stretch and shrinkage—critical for maintaining case integrity through repeated road work. The interior employs 210-denier nylon to guard against rips and tears during hardware contact. Internal dimensions measure 15" × 10", providing clearance for the shell's hardware fixtures beyond the nominal 13" × 9" drum specification. Brushed steel zip pulls and ergonomic handles deliver durability without unnecessary weight, whilst the overall package sits at a genuine midpoint between budget and professional-grade alternatives in the drum case market.
