Protection Racket Double Bass Drum Pedal Case Ruck

The Protection Racket Double Bass Drum Pedal Case Ruck (model 9280-47) is a backpack–style hard case designed to transport dual bass drum pedals with road–ready protection. Built by Protection Racket, a UK manufacturer with decades of flight case expertise, this model combines coffin–style construction with fully padded, adjustable shoulder straps–making it the practical choice for drummers who move between venues regularly and need hands–free carrying.

Internal dimensions measure 17.7” × 12.2” × 7”, providing accommodation for complete pedal assemblies including beater mechanisms and connecting rods. The case features a coffin lid that unzips fully around its perimeter and hinges down one side for straightforward pedal insertion and removal. Storage includes two internally mounted lid pockets: a zipped compartment (39cm × 14cm × 3cm) for beaters and connectors, plus an open pocket (25cm × 15cm) for sticks or accessories, alongside an external side pocket (18cm × 13.5cm) suitable for mobile phones or small gear.

The ruck configuration distinguishes this case from standard shoulder–bag variants, offering weight distribution across both shoulders during transport to gigs, rehearsals, or recording sessions. Construction throughout emphasises impact resistance and weather protection, with a carrying handle retained for situations where backpack carry isn't practical.
