Protection Racket Delux Cajon Ruck Sack

Protection Racket's Deluxe Cajon Ruck Sack (catalogue 9124-00 or 9124-01) is a backpack–style hard case engineered for musicians who need hands–free transport without sacrificing protection. Built with a coffin–style lid for straightforward access and fully padded ruck sack straps, it distributes weight evenly across both shoulders. The interior lines with Propile material, a premium protective coating that shields the cajon from impacts and abrasion during travel.

The standard Deluxe model accommodates cajons with internal space of 30.5cm × 30.5cm × 52cm, whilst the Large variant (9124-01) expands to 32.5cm × 32.5cm × 52cm internally. A central carry handle supplements the padded straps for flexibility during loading, unloading, or short carries. The coffin–style design opens wide for ergonomic entry and exit without forcing your instrument through a narrow opening, addressing a common frustration with cylindrical percussion cases.

This configuration suits touring percussionists, buskers, and session players who move between venues regularly. The ruck sack orientation orients the cajon vertically, a deliberate choice that reduces footprint and distributes the drum's weight along the spine rather than concentrating it at a single point. For intermediate to advanced players prioritising comfort and durability over trolley convenience, this case delivers practical instrument security.
