Protection Racket AAA 18" x 14" Rigid Bass Drum Case

Protection Racket's AAA 18" × 14" Rigid Bass Drum Case (model A1418-00) represents the company's latest evolution in road-worthy drum protection. Built around a polycarbonate frame coupled with Rocket Foam™ technology–a hybrid material combining strong, lightweight advanced polymers–this case prioritises impact resistance without excess weight. The design philosophy balances rigour with practicality, addressing the real wear that touring and session drummers encounter daily.

Internal dimensions of 21½" × 17½" accommodate the drum shell plus hardware and fittings, providing breathing room for wrapping and padding. The polycarbonate frame delivers exceptional durability whilst remaining portable. Ergonomic neoprene handles and reinforced plastic piping edges reduce strain during transport, whilst the 6" × 4" clear window pocket allows quick visual identification of kits without opening the case. These practical touches reflect genuine road experience rather than theoretical design.
